| Metal Stamping

Metal stamping is the process of mechanically producing
cutouts, slots, and holes in finished metal parts. Parts are
produced by feeding metal material between a punch and a die.
The result of cutting, forming, scoring, and tapping this metal
is often a more cost-effective solution to a machined part.
We most often score material such as pump vane so that it can
be easily separated in line with our heat treat operation, using
a rotating wheel to knock the scored parts off.

Profiles, Inc. has stamping presses that are capable of
various stamping applications.
