A precision cold metal formation process. Cold rolling forms aluminum, steel, and other metals by compressing it between specially shaped rolls. Cold rolling is capable of forming metals into geometric shapes with tight dimensional tolerances of ± .0005" (.013mm). Often cold rolling is used to pre-shape metal bar and coil stock between rollers before drawing.
